Since I don't have anything better to put on here at the moment, I thought I'd give you all a tour of my house. Well, the upstairs living areas anyway. There are too many pictures for me to want to do it all at once. I have mentioned that I like to see the way people decorate their homes, so I thought I'd share mine. So here ya go...
This is the living room from 4 different angles. I love the color red, which would explain why there is so much of it. :)
I'm not crazy about the funky wall in the next photo. It's really a waste of space as far as I see it, but if we were to change it, it may make it difficult to get down the stairs without hitting your head. So, it must stay. ;0 I can't put much on it either because my cat will knock it off. But, it would look cluttered anyway, because I've tried it.I tried and tried and tried to get this picture without the glare from the mirror, but it just wasn't gonna happen for me. Oh well, that's the way it goes sometimes. :)This next picture is the stairs, obviously, going toward the front door. It splits off at the landing and heads on to the down stairs area. We've lived here for over 7 years, and I haven't fallen down them yet. Knock on wood!!Now we are in the kitchen area. Just on the other side of the archway is where you would go down the stairs. I have a lot of crap up there that I need to dust. UGH!!! The next picture is part of the dining room taken from the kitchen side. The kitchen is split from the dining room with a bar on one side and counter space and sink on the other. Well, that's it for right now. My next post will be the rest of the rooms upstairs. :) Gotta love that red!!!

Your house looks really nice! I love all the arched doorways!! :)
And p.s. I cannot WAIT until I live someplace where I can paint my walls something other than white!!!!! I like that tan color you've got. :)
I think it looks great!
Thanks guys:)
And I love color too. I need to repaint just to make it look fresh again, cuz after 7 yrs and the kids, it's in real need. :) It's on my list of things to do.
Awesome house, love the decorating! I like the plates on the wall. We have some that LeRoy's mom bought in different countries she visited. your compilation just might work, thanks!
Your house is lovely. Looks something your folks house. I love knick-knacks and have a bunch of them but they are a pain to dust.
Looking forward to the next recipe, again not that I like to cook but love, love, love recipes.
WOW!!! What fun!! I love to see how others decorate, since we are in the process! :D
Yes, I too love the tall ceilings and the archways everywhere! How pretty!!!
Yes, it must take you forever to dust??? Or is it pretty dust resistant??
