| Delta Block Party |
We spent most of the day Saturday at the Delta Block Party in Atlanta. It was an appreciation day for Delta employees. We had a great time. We didn't get to do everything, because it rained most of the day; but we did do a lot. It was fun.
When we first got there, the kids decorated little flower pots, so when they were done, Billy ran them back to the van. They got their faces painted next. After that, we all got caricatures drawn. I didn't get pictures of everyone with their drawings, because it was raining; and there really wasn't anywhere to stand to get a good picture to where it wouldn't get all wet. I'll try to get pics this week and put it on here though. Billy took those to the van once we were all done getting them drawn. Next we got our picture taken to make it look like we were on the front of Sky magazine which is the magazine in the back pocket of the seat on the plane. They turned out alright. Billy then took those to the van. Needless to say, he was getting tired of running to the van. lol.
They had a rock wall and a few jumping inflatables there, but by the time we got around to doing it, it was raining. They had deflated the inflatables. Awe:( We got some food to eat and just spent the next few hours looking around as you can see by the pictures I've posted on here.
So, that was pretty much it for Saturday. And we didn't do too much yesterday either. I haven't done so great at getting to church lately. I guess I need to work on that. I really like to go for the kids especially.
Billy and I did go see a movie yesterday afternoon. We say Angels and Demons with Tom Hanks. It was really good, I thought. It was a lot like The Davinci Code. So if you liked The Davinci Code, you'll probably like this one too.
Well, that's it for now. Not much else going on at the moment. I'll have to think of some more things to post on for the rest of the week. I'm sure I'll come up with something. ;)

It was fun, but would have been much better if the rain would have stayed away.
I have NO idea what I will come up with next. I'm not like Petra who plans it out a lot of times. lol.
I will take a lot of pics at Matt's this coming weekend though, and that'll be fun. :)

I plan the blog posts, but yeah - not too many of them have actually made it out of my head yet. lol!
Did you see Star Trek yet? I thought it was great! Andy saw Angels & Demons and said he thought it was better than The Davinci Code - we didn't really like the davinci code though. I also heard from him and from Andrea that Wolverine really sucked... which is disappointing cause I was looking forward to that one - guess I'll just wait for DVD now, if I even bother then. :-P
No, we haven't seen Star Trek yet, but I'm sure we will since Billy loves Star Trek. I thought Angels and Demons was really good, but I thought The Davinci Code was good too. I think that it got a lot of negative publicity though. It wasn't as "bad" as everyone made it out to be, in my opinion. I thought that it was very "Indiana Jones" like in that they were running around following clues, etc. To me, it was very adventurous. I liked them both though. But I do think that a lot of people didn't care for it because of what it talked about. I could go on and on, but I don't feel like it, so I'll shut up now. lol.
We haven't seen Wolverine yet. I was looking forward to seeing it too. Who knows, I may like it. I definitely tend to have my own opinion when it comes to movies though. Guess I can be an odd one. :)
Sounds like a fun time, except for the rain part and Billy running to the van every few minutes... :)
Yeah, we haven't seen any of those movies, we pretty much always wait for the DVD's... :)
I DO want to see them though.
